Guidelines for Conducting Surveys at Curtin

Market and Institutional Research maintains information regarding many surveys that are conducted at Curtin. One of their roles is to provide advice on the surveying of students and staff. Advice can also be requested regarding the design and administration of surveys as well as the analysis and reporting of results. Market and Institutional Research is here to help you with these aspects of survey design. Unfortunately, due to limited resources we cannot do data entry or qualitative analyses. However, we can offer advice in these areas and can assist with initial quantitative data analysis and reporting.

Conducting a Survey of Curtin Staff or Students

If you require access to Curtin staff or students for research projects and/or surveys, you should refer to Curtin's Survey Guidelines.

To help coordinate surveys throughout the University and to maintain an accurate record of survey information, we ask that you email CurtinSurveys@curtin.edu.au about your intended survey. The following information would be of great assistance:

Once you have completed your survey, it would be helpful if you can send the Office of Strategy and Planning a copy of the final report for our records.
