Curtin Staff Surveys

Curtin collects information on perceptions regarding all aspects of work as a Curtin staff member through its surveys:

  • Quality of Working Life Survey (2003 and 2006)
  • Your Voice (2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2017)
  • An abridged version of Your Voice was administered in 2015 (Pulse)
  • A new Pulse tool was developed inhouse in 2019 Ngalang Waangi - Our Voice (also administered in 2020 & 2021; no survey in 2022)
  • A more comprehensive tool Curtin Staff Survey was piloted in 2023

2023 Curtin Staff Survey

The survey has now closed. Full time, part time, casual and sessional staff from the campuses below were eligible:

  • All Australian campuses
  • Curtin Dubai
  • Curtin Malaysia
  • Curtin Mauritius
  • Curtin Singapore

Reports

2023 Curtin Staff Survey quantitative results^ are accessible via the BI Dashboards icon on the Staff Portal.

2019, 2020 and 2021 Ngalang Waangi Survey results are also available through the same link.

^ The survey included opportunities for staff to provide free text comments. Thematic analysis of qualitative comments is being undertaken and will be reported to the Senior Executive Team in the first instance. It is envisaged that comments (and any analysis) will be distributed to local areas in early 2024.
